My name is Alessandro Chessa, I am a Network Scientist, and I write about science and technology with a humanistic flair.

I hold a PhD in Theoretical Physics and teach Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at LUISS and Machine Creativity at NABA. Since 2016, I have been Scientific Coordinator and teacher at the Talent Garden Innovation School in Milan and Senior Advisor of ENI's Data Science Lab in External Communication. In 2000, I was a Research Associate at Boston University, and in 2008, I founded a private R&D laboratory, Linkalab, of which I am CEO.

My scientific interests range from the application of quantum mechanics to the World Wide Web, to the study of social graphs in new communities on the Internet and in corporate organizations, to Big Data in journalistic information. I recently began studying machine creativity.

Since I'm over 50, my main life goals have become: traveling, to discover myself in other worlds, writing, which is traveling by other means, and learning Portuguese to read Pessoa in the original and unlock the secret of those words that are music.
